Back To The Future Road Safety Psa(《回到未來》交通安全公益廣告)是美國電影《回到未來》為了能在澳大利亞上映而製作的交通安全公益廣告。
背景
電影上映時期,澳大利亞出現道路安全危機,與道路有關的死亡人數達到3798人的峰值,即每10萬人中有30.4人死亡。1983年,由於進行大量的安全措施,每年的死亡人數降至2755人,這是自1964年以來死亡人數首次低於3000人。然而,到1985年底,這一數字再次有所上升,達到2941人。[1][2]
《回到未來》於1985年7月3日在美國影院上映,一個多月後於8月14日在澳大利亞上映。[3]
拍攝原因
在《回到未來》的開頭,馬蒂進入布朗醫生的房子發現裏面空無一人,於是打電話給布朗,電話打完後馬蒂發現時間是8點25分,上學快要遲到了。為了節省時間,馬蒂騎着滑板抓住一輛1984年版的福特Ranger進行滑行。當皮卡右轉時,馬蒂抓住一台吉普CJ-7進行滑行,這讓司機非常生氣。[4][5]馬蒂到達學校時還是遲到了,因此遭受校長批評。[6][7]
電影在當時在美國上映時,馬蒂在開頭的行為引發公眾的道德恐慌,在澳大利亞審查時當局也表示震驚。根據製片人和編劇鮑勃·蓋爾在2002年發售的電影DVD中的發言[8],為了讓電影能在澳大利亞上映,他們作出了妥協,讓馬蒂的演員米高·J·福克斯出演道路安全公益廣告。對廣告的具體內容並不清楚,大致意思是不要拖住汽車滑行。[9][10][11]

除了鮑勃·蓋爾外,該廣告幾乎無人所知,也沒有留下任何畫面。[12]《電影檔案》、《失物招領博物館》和一篇r/lostmedia帖子對廣告的介紹都是引用蓋爾的說法。[#footnote-11 11][13][14]在r/lostmedia的帖子中,Reddit用戶Wot_Gorilla_2112在YouTube瀏覽許多20世紀80年代的澳大利亞廣告依然沒找到。失物博物館也沒有找到廣告的細節。[15]wild_zoey_appered提出一種理論,稱廣告應該是有的,只是沒在澳大利亞公開播出過。無論如何,該廣告依然完全失傳。[16]
