「Above The Clouds」，原名 This One's Gonna Fly，是一個失傳歌曲騙局，由 WatZatSong 用戶 Kerlo 捏造。

起源

2023年12月11日，WatZatSong 用戶 Kerlo 上傳了一段神秘的歌曲片段。他聲稱小時候父母給了他很多盜版DVD，在檢查了閣樓上的袋子後找到了38張光碟。光碟中有一首歌他無法辨識，據他所說來自一張 [https:baike.baidu.com/item/%E5%A4%A9%E6%89%8D%E7%9C%BC%E9%95%9C%E7%8B%97/13026667?fr=ge_ala 天才眼鏡狗] 的盜版DVD的啟動畫面。他認為這張DVD大概來自2014或2015年。

Kerlo 將包含這首歌曲片段的DVD啟動畫面上傳至 YouTube，隨後引起了討論熱潮。因為在此之前就有一首在盜版DVD啟動畫面上發現的失傳歌曲 How Long ，而 Kerlo 也是參與搜索的人之一。

發現

2024年1月29日，用戶 aholyman 在 WatZatSong 上傳了這首歌的新片段，聲稱來自一個名為 「CountryLIVE」 的zip文件，並提供了歌曲文件的屬性信息。之後整首歌被上傳到 Vocaroo。不到3個小時後，這首歌就被確認為 Templeton Thompson 的《This One’s Gonna Fly》。

騙局

2024年2月23日，Reddit 用戶 thenormmalelevator32 發現，Kerlo 在發布最初的片段的前幾天就聽過 Templeton Thompson 的歌。Kerlo 之後承認他偽造了整個事件，這意味著 「Above The Clouds」 是一個被證實的騙局，因為 Kerlo 一直非常清楚他在找的歌曲是什麼。^{[#footnote-1 1]}

後來，用戶 Alex 通過 Kerlo 上傳的DVD啟動畫面中的熔岩背景和金色邊框，證明這段視頻是在一個名為 DVDStyler 的軟體中創建的。
